About College: In 2000, it became a constituent institute of the deemed university - Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), which is known today as Manipal Academy of Higher Education. MIT offers a Bachelor’s and Master’s program in engineering streams. It also gives students the option to carry out full-time or part time research. The minimum duration for postgraduate qualified PhD students is three years for full time, and four years for part-time. There is a one year relaxation for applicants with an MPhil degree

Event Name:  Indian Rover Challenge

Event Date : 9th-12th January 2019

Rules :
  • Teams will operate their rovers from base stations (e.g. a metal trailer or opaque tent) provided by competition organizers near each task site. Teams are also allowed to bring their own tent or trailer to the site, if approved by the organizer. These stations will obstruct the operators’ view of the task. Power sources will be provided at the command site of each task for the purpose of powering teams’ communication and control equipment.
  • During the competition, teams must store and work on their rovers at a central location provided by the competition organizers. Testing areas are available for use nearby.
  • Teams are responsible for ensuring that all the components and subsystems of their rover will be permitted entry into India.
  • The team which earns the most points in total during the competition shall be declared the winner.
  • Entry into the Indian Rover Challenge 2019 is limited and subject to the approval of the organizing committee.
