About College: PSG College of Technology is an autonomous, government aided, private engineering college in Coimbatore, India. It is affiliated with Anna University. The college offers a total of 48 full-time and part-time programs in Science, Engineering and Management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The college was founded in 1951 by G. R. Damodaran as the first private engineering institution established in Tamil Nadu. It is affiliated to PSG & Sons Charities Trust.

Event: Two Day Conference on Graphene and Analogous 2D Nanostructures

Organized by: Nanoscience and Technology, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering

Conference Theme:
  • The aim of this conference is to focus on advancements and prospects of 2D nanostructures including graphene. Graphene has been considered as the first popular 2D nanomaterial. Adding to the popularity of 2D nanomaterials, complex nanomaterials such as MoS2 and WS2 have been researched extensively. Active research on 2D nanostructures results in development of nanotechnology based devices and advanced nanostructures for various application areas such as flexible and wearable electronics, sensors, energy generation and storage, environmental remediation, biomedical devices and nanomedicine. This conference will provide a platform for researchers to present their findings and novel ideas as well as interact with leading industries in the field of applications of nanostructures. The technical sessions would encompass experts from academics and industries.
