About Workshop:  The Chennai chapter of Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS) in association with IIT Madras and College of Engineering (CEG), Anna University extend a hearty invitation to participate in the workshop on “Rock Engineering Issues and Future Challenges”, to be held at IIT Madras, Chennai on 9th June 2018. The main focus of the workshop is on the key issues and challenges challenges in the area of rock engineering engineering together together with recent developments. Invited speakers will be delivering special lectures on topics namely Rock and rock mass characterisation, Tunneling and caverns, Rock blasting and Geological aspect in rock engineering.
              Important Dates: 
              • Last Date for Registration : 25th May 2018
              Registration Fee : The registration fee for the workshop is Rs.1200/- per participants. For students the fee is Rs.700/-. The students are required to produce a valid ID proof.
