One Day Workshop on Exploring Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) at Anna University

About College: Anna University was established on 4th September, 1978 as a unitary type of University. This University was named after Late Dr.C.N.Annadurai, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. It offers higher education in Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Applied Sciences relevant to the current and projected needs of the society. Besides promoting research and disseminating knowledge gained therefrom, it fosters cooperation between the academic and industrial communities.

About Workshop: 

  • Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) has become the backbone in modern industries for energy efficient product design and development with growing demand in the industry for skilled engineers.
  • Applications of CFD are found in various fields, like Aerospace, Energy engineering, Automotive, Mechanical, Civil, and Chemical engineering. CFD reduces the time and cost for design and analyses of engineering systems & has ability to simulate real conditions.
  • The main objective of the workshop is to create awareness among the young talents and explore the challenging and growing field of CFD. An insight will be given on the fundamental principles of CFD and the wide range of its industrial applications. 
  • At the end of workshop, the students can create a roadmap for themselves to become a CFD professional.

  • Last Date for Registration : 14th May 2018
Registration Fee : Rs 750 /-

How to Apply: The fee shall be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of 'Organized Program, Anna University, Chennai’. Last date of receiving completed registration forms along with DD is May 14th, 2018. The selected participants will be informed through email by 14th May, 2018.
