About Event: The invention of low cost computer power and the availability of numerical software tools provide the  opportunity to fundamentally reorient the in depth understanding of theoretical concepts of engineering in  an interesting and attractive manner, through computer  based simulation studies.  Signal Processing and its applications can be  taught more effectively with a high level computer  programming language. Of all computer languages,  MATLAB can be used as backbone of simulations. It is  an equation solver based power technical computing too,  widely used in scientific and engineering calculations all  over the world. It is specially designed software package  with many built in convenient features and is far more  convenient to use as compare to other high level  languages such as C,C++, FORTRAN, etc. It is widely  used in industry for research, development and design of  linear and non linear systems. Hence it can be used in  teaching as a tool to enhance theoretical understanding  and visualization of parameters not possible to observe  physically.  This workshop will serves to be the platform for  the academicians/researchers who were working in the  areas of signal processing applications for pursuing their  research works in a resourceful manner.
