About Events: The Automobile Industry had its origin in the discovery of oil in 1859, the invention of petrol engine by Nicolaus Otto in 1876 and the invention of pneumatic tyre by John Dunlop in 1888. Since then there has been a considerable development in automotive engine technology and has reached its current level of performance. In the last two decades, engine researchers have focused their efforts to develop ultra low or zero emission vehicles, as well as to find alternate energy sources to replace the rapidly depleting diesel and petrol.
