About Event: The recent advances in dynamic optimization have created the opportunity to use optimization methods for high performance control and real-time performance optimization. Domains of application range from chemical and biochemical production plants to mechatronic systems, in particular prostheses. The integration of advanced computing into the control of physical systems creates cyber-physical systems in which the performance of the overall system depends not only on its physical design but strongly on the computer. The objective of this workshop is to present and discuss the computational algorithms, problem formulations and applications for advanced control and real-time performance optimization.
